2023 Condo Co-Op Series - When a Shareholder or Unit Owner Dies

Upon the death of a shareholder or unit owner, a number of questions arise: Who is allowed to enter the apartment? Can individuals who were living in the apartment at time of death continue to reside in the apartment afterward? How does the board collect arrears? What if the shareholder has no known relatives? In addition, but not as common, are ownership issues when the shareholder (or unit owner) dies without a Will. The speakers will delve into these issues and more.
